Pictures of The Beano - mb01 March 2026
When the M4 became English it got rather foggy. More damp and misty in Chippenham. The Travelodge is ten minutes from the Railway Station
On to The Bridge House to continue on with The Spoons Spring Real Ale Festival.
And there wasn’t a bad selection at all. I filled my boots.
Then on to The Waverley.
Moving on to Monday and catching the train to Bath.
Still rather foggy
Spoons, in the form of The King of Wessex to start.
With the new style Coffee machines. This is advanced Beanoing.
Moving on, to first The Black Fox
Not wonky
And then The Raven. Where the WiFi was down.
A Famous Political Pub
Electric Bear’s City Centre Taproom - The Cub
It’s upstairs.
A nice selection of their Fine Ales
Day 02 in Bath. Less Fog.
It was still chilly, though.
A new and second Spoons in Bath. The Old Post Office.
Over two floors
Then on to the smallest Pub in Bath, The Coeur De Lion.
Has Cask Abbey Ales
Homemade Soup, warm Crusty Bread and Welsh Butter for lunch.
Lovely
And to finish up, a quality Bottle Shop. The Kingsmead Street Bottle Shop. Definitely worth a visit.
Cute glasses but sadly not for sales and that’s your lot. Until next time, of course.
