An early train that ends up going backwards from Bristol Parkway. Always use Google Maps not your Spidey Sense. Easy to miss Premier Inn and the Spoons around the corner bar does not open until 10:00. The Crosse Keys is huge, has portable aircon units but only Cloud WiFi. The Bear In Paddington meets 90% of my Beanoing needs. I got to The Premier Inn and immediately feel asleep. Climate Climate no doubt.

Beers Of The Beano - Saturday 20 June 2026

Cinnamon and Full English

A Saturday morning Full English for the first time in ages in the Malcolm Uphill at table 30, my coal mine booth. Then I moved on to the Lock-Up bottle shop, but it was closed. It did eventually open up; however, no video because of lots of loud music in the background, and I didn't want a takedown.

In the afternoon, the Project in Caerphilly. A Welsh cake, lots of Fine Ales, wonderful air conditioning, and Cinnamon. Who'd have thought? Lots of Cinnamon.

Beer Pictures Of The Beano - Saturday 16 May 2026

When May is rather wet and not very early summery, it's time to revisit pubs that you haven't been to since June 2021. The Rickards. What a great place that is. Twt Lol Lollfest glasses and Grey Trees beer. Then on to the Otley, where I got waved at. Still haven't fixed the WiFi though, but the beers are really rather good. Nearly lost my bus pass as well.
