20250608 mb05 Day 01 Wrap

A sunny but fresh start to mb05, leaving Bedwas just before 06:00. There was a surprising amount of traffic all on of the rounds. Checked the car in at the Premier Inn and had a little explore before The Lord High Constable of England opened. The LHCoE really needs to let it’s Cask Ales rest more before they are served. Still the beers were good though. Sainsbury’s for an Apple Gift Card (Overcast renewal) and sandwiches. Extra Nectar points on the app. Five Guys for a double burger and lots of chips at a very high price.

The Hop Kettle next, where they have really good staff and Fine Ales but still no WiFi. A free half of Cask Ale on their savings card and then off to check in at the Premier Inn. Ground floor room with poor radio reception and it seems now that you can only get WiFi by the day.
